Dr.Web ® 4.44.2.5280 is an Antivirus and Antispam program for Windows.
Don´t install Dr. Web in a system with another antivirus installed, because this will cause trouble. Accept the invitation to restart the system when the installation finishes.
When you install the program, it will ask you to introduce a license key. If you have one, you must introduce it. If you don´t have a license key, the installation is able to request a demo license key from Dr. Web´s website.
The first thing that Dr. Web will do upon finishing the installation is to run an Express Scan (this is the only scan mode that the trial will run). In this mode the following objects are scanned: RAM, boot sectors of every disk, startup objects, boot disk root directory, root directory of Windows installation disk, Windows system folder, user documents folder ("My documents") and System and user temporary folders.
After rebooting, Dr. Web´s different modules would be active. These modules are the Automatic Update, the Scanner, the Scheduler, Spider Guard and Spider Mail. |
